If you like your Spanish lager and not the UK brewed rubbish. The Mahou on tap here is the best iv ever had.
Although the interior of this pub is basic and plain, the staff were very friendly and helpful. They made a table available and we had one of the nicest Sunday lunches for a long time. The starter was tasty and plentiful and the main meal plenty of tasty meat, and accompaniments, with a large bowl of varied vegetables and a gravy boat of gorgeous gravy. If you want more veg or gravy, Please ask, the barman said. Full marks, a great meal. Thanks to them!
My family and I went here last week for a small gathering after my father's funeral and I have to say the service and quality of the food was absolutely fantastic. We we're all amazed and so impressed with everything. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Many thanks to all the staff for all their hard work and doing such a lovely buffet. You did us proud
Fantastic Sunday lunch. Agree with other comments it can get a bit warm in there at times but this last time the doors were open. The food is always superb and such good value for money. Service is always super friendly and they fitted me and a friend in around a massive party that turned up. Worth saying too, that despite how busy they were the standards of everything remained high.
Had a Sunday roast, the pork was wonderful and the crackling was crisp. A little tip for the Sunday menus, you can mix two meats if you ask so be sure to try it out. The atmosphere is quaint however the restaurant could use a bit of modernising, not that this is an issue at all for a pub. The prices are very reasonable at £9.99 for two courses and the portions are great.
A traditional pub with a decent menu. Really enjoyed my Curry and the Fish and Chips looked amazing ( Aparently too good to share! I was informed by my son. ) Surroundings aren't anything to write home about, but the place is clean and the service good. 5 stars not 4 because of the value for money.
This place was absolutely amazing. The burgers here are brilliant. The desert is brilliant and don't get me started on how polite the servers are it was so good I went home and told my friend I wanted to go back and have more.
We have been a few times now & never been disappointed with the food. Sunday lunch is amazing value for money. Food was great & plenty of veg & gravy..even offered more if we needed it. Staff were very pleasant & helpful. Certainly go again.
